YuMe is a casual, contemporary Japanese dining experience. Whether it is the unique selection of sushi or the wok charred beef fillet with wasabi mash from the kitchen chefs, every meal is expertly prepared using only the freshest ingredients.

    Average sushi, if a little heavy on the mayo.

    We are always on the look-out for good sushi, and thought we'd give YuMe Parkhurst a try. While the vast selection of sushi is impressive, the sushi itself was bland and boring. Service was friendly but slow, and the sushi preparation area looked dirty and unorganised. This was not helped by the barrage of flies currently pestering Joburg.

    Bottom line, it was not a bad experience, but decidedly bland. For the same price tag I can get much better sushi in Joburg.
