The regulars who frequent Thirst@28°East knew it already but now it is official – this friendly bar is the best local pub in Pretoria.

It is not difficult to see why Record readers voted in their droves for Thirst, where good times are turned into great times by exquisite food at unbelievably affordable prices, a tasteful yet laid-back atmosphere and excellent service.

Boasting the honour of being a Windhoek Flagship establishment, Thirst is more than a neighbourhood pub, but rather a gathering place where friends and families enjoy the fare on offer, not only for the quality , but also for the unbeatable value for money and ample choice.

Having built up loyal clientele over the past five years, the live music by well-known local talent on Saturday nights and late Sunday afternoons ensures a constant flow of fun-loving patrons.

With television sets well positioned around the venue, Thirst is one of the most popular venues in the east of the city for enjoying rugby and other sports events with friends while having mouth-watering pizza generously made in a wood burning oven or “building” your own basket of succulent treats ranging from crumbed peppadews and feta, Jalapeno poppers and beef kebabs, to assorted sausages, chicken strips, hot wings and springbokkies (game samoosas). During the FIFA World Cup in 2014 Jacaranda FM stated that Thirst’s pizzas are arguably the best in the capital city.

Love it! Always good to go there :) never disapointed in the food. They also have great specials available.
