We had such a special Sunday lunch at The Kraal at Joostenberg. Thank you very much to Susan and her lovely team for the warm welcome and the amazing meal. I loved the fact that most of our meal came from the farm garden. The Kraal's menu changes weekly depending on what's available from the garden. The fennel with gribiche sauce and the duck rilette were both out of this world. And I have got to learn to make the kaiing bread!! And the nasturtium butter!! We thoroughly enjoyed the organic wine from the estate. You can also do wine tasting at the farm. The setting is relaxed in the converted Kraal, hence the name, with pretty gardens. I highly recommend taking a drive out for Sunday lunch. You won't be disappointed.
