My husband and I went to Freres Bistro for Valentine's Day, and had a fantastic evening there. Jason kindly let us order off the A La Carte menu rather than the set menu so that we had more choice. For entre we both ordered escargot, which was a classic dish done simply, just how we like it. For main, I ordered the duck breast which was excellent - terrifically succulent without being overly fatty - and my husband said his steak was the best he'd had for a long time. The desserts didn't disappoint either, the creme brulee being particularly delicious. Definitely a restaurant I'll be back to again soon!
