Owner's description
La Stalla is a reinvention of chef James Diack's The Federal. The industrial-chic pizzeria is situated in the heart of Melville. The simple menu features a selection of well-priced small plates, a number of wood-fired dishes and pizza options, roasted chicken, fresh salads and gelato.

Nice and lovely space in the middle of Melville. This is for the matured couples, beautiful ambience and super nice good.

The food is absolutely delicious and the dishes are made from fresh seasonal ingredients. I had the crispy calamari with rocket, chilli and lemon mayo for starters. The organic roasted pork belly on ciabatta for mains was delectable. For desert I had the homemade nutella cheese cake with gelato which was devine and one of the best tasting deserts I have had in a while.The staff is welcoming and the service is great.

This new find in Melville was a pleasant surprise; a relaxing ambience, setting that was unique and warm fireplaces during the winter. Menu can be a little pricey but may be worth it for most due to the experience and vibe. There was also a few delicious options for the vegetarian customers and the desserts are also a treat.
