The Fat Fish in George serves freshest seafood available coupled with moreish tapas, platters of delicate sushi and other mouthwatering original dishes, in a distinctively warm and contemporary restaurant just off York Street behind the George Tourism offices.
At our restaurant in George, you are spoilt for choice with a number of smaller rooms on varying levels to ensure an intimate dining experience. The outdoor tables are surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden and water features - a true respite on a hot summers day. In addition, a beautifully appointed special events room is available to hire for boardroom meetings, small conferences / training or for that very special birthday, anniversary, intimate wedding or end of year corporate party.
Both of our Fat Fish restaurants have wood burning fires and fluffy blankets on hand to cater for the short Garden Route winter months
