Great venue great service with a great atmosphere on the '' beach''

Die gasvryheid is uit die boonste rakke almal is vriendelik behulpsaam en laat jou op jou gemak voel jy word hartlik ontvang dis iets buiten gewoonds om te beleef n resurant bo enige ander die hele aanbieding van die program is voortreflik ek het bietjie lam geraak sodra die klok lui hoekom dan is die volgende gereg gereed en my maag was vreeslik vol ek kan nie n treffer by die kos uit kies nie want alles was voortrefik ek het nog nooit soveel seekos dusse geeet en elkeen so uniek voorberei die hele program gee elkeen n kans om genoeg te eet van alles wat voor gesit word maar dis baie kos vir die bedrag wat hul vra sal jy nie in n resturant kan kry teen so n hoe gehalte nie dis waarlik waarde vir geld en heerlik die atmosfeer is so rustig dis by verre die beste keuse ek besoek graag weer

On a weekend away in the tranquil town of Parys, we decided to give De Vette Mossel a visit, as we had heard about it from friends who had been to the Harties branch. We arrived and were welcomed with a glass of wine. You bring your own cooler bag of drinks, as they are not licensed. This was cool, as we sat on our chairs with our feet in the beach sand. Then, the food start arriving as each course was announced. The fresh bread was to die for. You have to watch yourself or you wouldn't be able to reach the 3rd course of seafood. To end off was coffee and koeksisters as a yummy traditional South African treat.

I got married on the 5th April 2014 in Vanderbijlpark, and after the ceremony family and friends followed the marriage car to De Vette Mossel, Parys. The place was booked out by us and it was a fantastic memorable experience by all that attended our Wedding Reception! The ambience suited our Wedding setting, as I was a Navy Officer in Simon's Town and got married in uniform. Well done to all the staff at De Vette Mossel, Parys! By the way, I will be taking my beautiful wife their this Sunday 10/05/15 to enjoy good memories! I have recommended friends to go, they have, and have enjoyed the place completely!!!

We went to De Vette Mossel as part of a party of 17. The food was fantastic, the place is beautiful, but management was sullen and not friendly or helpful at all.
There were hardly any other people there, but nobody once came and checked if we were ok or if we needed anything.
Very disappointed in management style.
