Casa Marani Restaurant & Deli is the creation of mother-daughter duo Graziella Marani and Daniela Atia. The two share a long-standing passion for food, feeding people and good service and wanted to share this passion with Johannesburg. Casa Marani Restaurant & Deli is located in Parkhurst, Johannesburg. Born in Milano, Italy, in 1946. Graziella’s parents immigrated to South Africa in 1961 to Standerton to start a wool textiles factory, where a number of Italians had settled. Her love for authentic Italian food started young as her family found ways to bring in authentic Italian products like Parma hams and Parmigiano into South Africa, when it wasn’t freely available. This mother and daughter duo believe that the Casa Marani is an extension of their home and treat their customers like family, serving up only the best food and eating experience. You’ll often find their family members indulging in the delicious treats served up at Casa Marani as it’s just like home.
