    After a long and challenging time for restaurants, we were delighted to return to our favourite prawn palace and enjoy the heavenly mussels and prawns. Carla was her usual gracious self and took all necessary precautions for our safety. The intimate, unique ambiance remains and it was wonderful to be back. Thank you.

    Carla was a no-show. I made a reservation 6 days ago, arrived at 6pm to locked doors and no lights. Previously it was a great experience but tonight...we are now at Tigers Milk. Very rude and we are disappointed.

    Carla's is a marvelous South African Restaurant with a Mozambican / Portugese flair. The proprietor is bubbly open and fun. The food is absolutely fantastic.

    Popped in to Carla's for prawns and was blown away by the flavor. A two woman operation in Muizenberg side street is like being back in old LM days. Cozy place. Great host Carla. Prawns were the best in South Africa that I've had
