Move over, Tinder: There’s an even more unrestrained meat market on the loose. Sizzl, a Tinder-style app for iPhone, allows users to find and connect with fellow bacon lovers.

Users can create a profile based on their bacon preferences – such as turkey or pork, crisp or burnt – and browse others’ profiles. Like Tinder, there’s also a messaging platform where users are directed if both approve of each other.

American meat and cold cut company Oscar Mayer is behind the virtual meat market in what is certainly one of the most pun-laden marketing initiatives of the year. The company say the platform will remain active for six months, after which we hope to hear several mentions of Sizzl in wedding speeches.

Users are able to report non-lovers of bacon who attempt to contact them.
