Exciting news just in – the Castle Building at the iconic V&A Waterfront will be the venue for Marble Cape Town, set to open its doors in the Mother City soon.
Founded by Chef David Higgs and Gary Kyriacou, The Marble Group set ablaze Joburg’s dining scene in 2016, swiftly earning its place as a favourite destination for the city’s foodies. In 2022 the team announced plans for a Cape Town branch, sparking eager anticipation among fans of the restaurant ever since.
Constructed in 1919, the Union Castle Building offers a historic setting for the restaurant. Nestled atop the building, Marble Cape Town is sure to promise a special dining experience, with sweeping 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean and majestic Table Mountain, seamlessly blending the building’s rich heritage with Cape Town’s natural splendour.
David comments, “We’ve always prided ourselves on selecting prime locations for our restaurants, and Marble Cape Town is no exception. The panoramic views from our top-floor venue are simply spectacular, offering guests an unforgettable dining experience surrounded by the beauty of Cape Town.”
With a seating capacity of 300, Marble Cape Town will feature a spacious and refined interior designed to harmonise with its picturesque surroundings.
Gary echoes David’s sentiment, stating, “Marble Cape Town embodies everything that makes this city truly special, from our prime location in the Union Castle Building to our unwavering commitment to culinary excellence.”
