Liam Tomlin’s newest restaurant, Pan-Asian cocktail bar and restaurant, opened its doors at The Mount Nelson on 14 April 2023. The Red Room provides an authentic restaurant and bar experience. Settle into a luxurious dining room corner to enjoy a four-course set menu to share for R850 per person. They also serve dim sum (prawn dumpling, spinach dumpling, or crisp fried tofu) and Japanese cheese cake (R110) for dessert. Open Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 9pm.
