S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna are partners of the Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards and sponsor of the Eat Out S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna Chefs’ Chef Award, the winner of which will be announced on 31 March at the Baxter Theatre Centre.

As the hospitality industry continues to evolve, education remains crucial for mixologists to develop new skills, increase their knowledge and advance in their careers. That’s why courses like the S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna Training Scholarship Programme are so important for an advancing industry.

S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, in collaboration with Clearworld Suppliers, recently announced the newest iteration of the Training Scholarship Programme, which is run by the Sommeliers Academy. The programme will provide hospitality professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the industry.

This year’s programme introduces new modules focused on sustainable practices, highlighting advanced waste management techniques and the responsible sourcing of local ingredients. As sustainability is a core consideration in hospitality, this programme will proactively equip scholars with beverage service skills and the knowledge to drive positive change in the industry.

Providing a comprehensive curriculum encompassing everything from wine and cocktail stewarding to junior sommelier certifications, the programme will also cover enhanced training in digital technologies, educating participants on how to use online platforms for marketing, sales, and customer engagement.

Vlad Klaic, Director of Alchemology, will lead the mixology course, which will cover classic cocktails, spirits knowledge, techniques, and modern trends. The course is tailored for beginners, intermediate, and advanced bartenders, and upon completion participants will receive a certificate, accredited by Alchemology & Sanpellegrino.
