This vibey joint with its charming decor is known for live music events, customised platters, and traditional Italian pizzas and grills. The 1969 Prego Roll comes with options for a spicy chicken or tender sirloin with peri-peri or creamy roasted garlic mayo sauce, served with homemade double fried chips for R89. Cesco’s Portuguese Pub and Restaurant (Randburg)

Among varied seafood and meat dishes, you’ll find the epic Portuguese chicken for two served with salad and chips, which goes for R169 on Tuesdays. Meanwhile, Thursdays are reserved for espetada braais. Eat as much as you like of their beef, chicken and pork espetada for only R155.
