The Oranjezicht Farm Market is a neighbourhood favourite since 2017 and is a non-profit initiative supported by many. There’s no entry fee to pay when visiting the market and your furry friends are welcome to go along for the culinary excursion – provided you follow the 6 strict rules. Tons of parking is available on site. The market is open from 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday, 8.15am to 2pm on Saturdays and from 9am to 2pm on Sundays.

Wild Oats Community Farmers’ Market (Sedgefield)

Situated on the infamous Garden Route, this well-known market sits adjacent to the Swartvlei Lake-Lagoon. Here local is most evidently “lekker”, and the proof lies in the variety of produce available here. From free range chicken, meats and dairy products to locally produced baked and bottled goods, this market is certainly worth the drive. Open every Saturday from 7.30am to 12noon in summer and from 8am to 12noon in winter.
