Do you dream of becoming the next Jamie Oliver, Luke Dale-Roberts, Margot Janse or Reuben Riffel? If so, the Woolworths TASTE Eat Out Bursary is your big chance and we’re calling for all future chefs to apply. The bursary is for a one-year scholarship to Silwood Cookery School in Cape Town beginning in 2015, followed by a second year, sponsored by the school itself, where students receive Cordon Bleu-accredited training as well as an opportunity to assist with catering at a number of functions throughout the year.
If you’re younger than 35 years old, think you have what it takes to become a culinary genius, have a passion for food and cooking and show a keen interest in raising the standard of South Africa’s culinary industry, entries for the 2014 Woolworths TASTE Eat Out Bursary are currently open and will close on 30 October 2014.
Applications are now closed. Applications for 2017 will open in May 2016.
