The 2018 issue of Eat Out magazine is on sale now.

Our new magazine, the definitive annual guide for where to eat well in SA, has hit the shelves. Featuring the country’s top fine-dining destinations, neighbourhood gems and classic favourites, the 2018 magazine is the 20th edition of the guide.

Inside you can find reviews of the 500 best restaurants in the country as rated by our panel of 48 critics, as well as details on the winners of the 2017 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards.

The collectors’ issue pays tribute to the last two decades of the local restaurant industry, its highlights, watershed moments and stars. Take a trip down memory lane as we trace back the top trends of the past 20 years – Cosmo cocktail, anyone? Also get a look at Eat Out’s previous 19 covers (times have changed), and find out which 23 restaurants appeared in the very first edition and are still open today.

The 2018 issue of the magazine also introduces the new logo for Eat Out, the first of a number of exciting developments for us in the year ahead. Join in the 20th issue celebrations by following the hashtag #EatOut20.
