Owner's description

Tides, with its curtain of windows overlooking the Camps Bay beachfront, is the perfect place to start your day. Guests are spoilt for choice at breakfast, from the beverage table on arrival, to the buffet flooded with delicious platters, and the option of ordering a hot breakfast. The intimate Celebration Area at Tides is perfect for family breakfasts, friends getting together or an intimate kitchen tea.

Any further negative comment beyond the very well done rib eye steak (without anybody asking our preference) seems trivial. Setting and band was great.

This isn't really a review, but i'm hoping you could use this info on the restaurant. My name is Brian , and I'm the newly appointed chef at Tides restaurant at the Bay hotel. My previous role was head chef and founding member of The Noisy Oyster in Paternoster - was a big reason for the success of the Noisy Oyster. I'm hoping to achieve the same success with Tides restaurant and am inviting all foodies to make a turn at ides restaurant in Camps Bay , Bay hotel, for a fresh take on eating fresh food, well prepared, open for dinner with a daily changing menu, seafood and other delights.
