Owner's description

Village Table is a magnificent looking restaurant situated in a beautiful location overlooking the Indian Ocean. The team working in it are dedicated to great service and fantastic food. It is in partnership with the Luizinho family, who have been in the Fruit, Veg and Fresh Foods business for a long time in KZN. The experience is that of casual, relaxed and friendly dining.

    Disappointed villager. Definitely a day place as the ocean view adds a new dimension to your dining experience. Excellent vibe and the service was fantastic. The host, waitress and waiting times were all very good . Unfortunately the food fell short and came nowhere close to the mark. Bland lamb chops with lumpy mash was average whilst the veg linguini was forgettable. Still worth a visit... cocktails perhaps...skip the table and head for the bar.

    Absolutely the best vibey place to be in Umhlanga, and the service is always exceptional. Best Affordable Food & Drinks. The Staff was very friendly & Nice. The Manager By the name of Mandy was Amazingly Helpful & Welcoming ???.

    The best restuarant in Umhlanga. The food is great, the place is cosy. I would only suggest to have heaters and blankets for the outside area as it gets cold. The view is just the most remarkable view ever. The prices are reasonable aswel. I would suggest it to everyone.

    Certainly a crowd pleaser! Meals are fresh and deliciously prepared.Well presented on tableware that suits the colours of the ocean.The warmth of the sun and fresh Indian ocean breeze enhances your dining experience. Meals are simple yet tasty and flavors well put together.
