Tuk Tuk is unique in the village as the only microbrewery on the main road, offering a distinctive casual dining experience. The 2000 litre capacity microbrewery is authentic in the truest sense of the word.
Beer lovers can sample the variety on offer via the tasting menu of 8 on tap beers.
The interior design for Tuk Tuk exudes an industrial feel with its vaulted ceiling, exposed brick and sandblasted walls, and copper and stainless steel service pipes running overhead. The brewery was constructed by Kaspar Schulz from Bamberg, Germany, a company with over 300 years of experience in brew system fabrication.
Patrons can be seated indoors around the microbrewery and watch fine craft beer being expertly brewed or outdoors on the bustling main street of the village, where this copper microbrewery is sure to become a new landmark on Huguenot Road. Guests can tuck in for a bite to eat with a menu that is simple, fresh and packed with flavour. The casual dining is a reflection of scrumptious street food you would find when travelling the globe. Every dish has its personality and is prepared from scratch to order using only the finest ingredients, with produce like seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruit coming directly from the Leeu Collections' magnificent edible gardens.
The menu offers an array of options catering to most dietary requirements, from bar snacks and specialities like contemporary Mexican tacos, to the 'Main Brews' on the block, like the butter-basted flame grilled steak, the loaded Big Boy Burger, and of course, the good'ol beer battered fish and Chips. Or just choose to 'Meet the Sweets' with items like the famous free-form churro with chocolate dipping mole and créme anglaise.
Dishes are yum and fun and of course, they all have their 'beer besties'.
