I'm always sceptical when visiting new restaurants that have great reviews on here, because I'm so scared of being disappointed... But boy was I not! We came here for a quick dinner before heading to Stone's for live band night on Thursday and we were quickly seated. The Menu is nicely varied so that you can select from numerous Japanese specials or sushi. I ordered some sushi – tempura prawn California rolls, salmon hand roll and salmon sashimi .The quality of the salmon was brilliant and the texture of the rolls were really great. My only critic here is that there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of batter on my prawns, but they were delicious none-the-less. My fiancé had the tempura soba soup (this is a buckwheat noodle in a delicious broth served with tempura seafood and vegetables that you can dip in the soup, soak in the soup or eat separately). That broth was one of the tastiest things I’ve tasted in a long time – I ended up finishing up the left overs there and then. The service was a tad slow when we wanted to order our food, and the wait for food was a little lengthy but in the end it really was worth it. I can’t wait to go back and try another one or 3 of their delicious meals. The price I also thought was very fair for what you get, I would even say I thought it was affordable for the quality you get.
