No doubt it's a beautiful venue. It has few tables, enough that it feels exclusive. The lighting is lovely as is the décor. The hosts and waiters were all very friendly and accommodating.
The starter of halloumi balls was delicious! It was perfectly crispy and the sauce perfectly complimented the flavour of the cheese.
For the price, however, the main meal was rather disappointing. I had the filleted fish meal that was recommended to me by the waiter. While the flavour was nice, the fish was quite dry and the accompanying rice and vegetables were unfortunately, very bland. I left wishing I had chosen something cheaper, like the fajitas, that might have had a bit more flavour. My party agreed that the main meals seemed average, for a luxury restaurant.
For dessert I had the chocolate fondant cake. The moist centre nicely countered the slightly dry cake, and though I opted not to have the ice cream, I can imagine it would have complimented the dessert nicely.
If I were to go again, I might skip the main course and only have starters and dessert!
