I said I will start with the good. I had the chateaubriand it was beautiful with the chardonnay sauce on a potato rosti and crispy chips. My friends both had the duck with the orange sauce oh yum yum. I was so busy enjoying mine and the duck I didnt bother to look at what the others were eating but they were all saying great things. But the service was terrible the waiter didnt come to our table our meal took 1 hour and 10 minutes as after an hour I went to complain. They really could spend a bit of effort on the decor which was cheap and tacky. But the food gets a thumbs up.

Found a delightful and great quality restaurant that serves beef ribs in Cape Town (Table View). Worth the recent trips from JHB to dine here. Evening on 12/12 was most memorable. The food was excellent - quantities generous and quality without fault. Lovely ambience and amazing views of the ocean. While upmarket and fine dining experience for couples, also family friendly. The owner/host Sebastian was very hospitable, equally friendly to all patrons. Nice vibe. Service was good, on time. The new waitress did misunderstand - "doggy bag" for "Jack Black"- but that was quickly rectified. Definitely recommend the Angus Grill for their ribs and dining experience.
