This was the most disappointing experience I have had in Hermanus. Greeted by a sweet waiter I ordered the chicken salad. Was an average meal until an hour later I found myself vomiting everywhere. I don’t want to know what this kitchen looks like but to give me food poisoning something must be drastically wrong. So so dissatisfied.

Having friends Visit us in Hermanus from johburg, we were looking for a relaxed comfortable atmosphere for Sunday lunch. Tappas did definitely not disappoint. Roaring log fires, good friendly service and delicious hot meals, were the order of the day! Thanks Tappas, you gave us a memorable experience on a cold rainy winters day in Hermanus. Would highly recommend this restaurant to visitors and locals alike.
