My husband and I had afternoon tea at the coffee shop, and then also dinner at Victoria Room at the hotel. Afternoon tea was lovely. Although my carrot cake was a little on the dry side, my husband's scone was delicious. The lunches that came out to other tables also looked delicious. For dinner, neither of us could go past the Karoo lamb shank, and it didn't disappoint. A good portion size with a great sauce, very tender meat, really excellent mashed potato, and a nice selection of roast vegetables. Very well priced too. Dessert was a lovely fig and walnut sticky pudding which was a little dry and lacking in sauciness, but had a nice flavour. Overall, I'd recommend stopping here if in Prince Albert for good value local fare.
