Owner's description

Christo Harvey made a name for himself with his previous venture called Platform on 18th, which offered a cool exhibition space to both established and emerging young artists. He has now opened a coffee shop called Respek (respect), which is located in a small 70’s building in the far-flung reaches of Waverley, Pretoria. Lovely large Jakaranda trees outside offers shade and cool respite on hot days. They currently have a small menu with a few breakfast and lunch items and of course good coffee. While one is waiting for your order, pop into the tiny gallery next door to appreciate some fine art works by local artists.

    Super funcky little place! By far the best Croissants I have ever had. I absolutely love the cool and casual vibe. If you happen to pass through Pretoria, this should definitely be one of your breakfasts or lunch stops.
