I consider Chinese cuisine to be one of my favourites and have eaten at many other Chinese restaurants in Johannesburg and Pretoria, the food at this restaurant is so delicious and authentic, that I list it as my number one Chinese restaurant that I have been to.
The spring rolls are fresh and crispy. The green Thai curry is hot, flavourful and has a nice amount of veggies. The fried rice is my favourite, an absolute gigantic portion filled with your meat of choice. This restaurant is consistently good which is so important (nothing worse than having a great experience one week and a dismal one the next).
Staff are very friendly, the only thing I find is that on more than one occasion, the person who i'm dining with is given their main meal, and I have had to wait more than 5 minutes for mine, which can be awkward when the other person is ravenous and wants to start eating and the same for me too when I can smell the food but have to wait for mine!
The decor is a little dated, that's why I rated the ambience as 2 star, but the cheap decor is reflected in the cheap prices of the food, so I cannot complain too much. For the prices of the food and the quality of what I am eating it is definitely worth sitting on wicker chairs!
