located in a little shopping mall called Irene Villas, this little gem on Irene’s busiest crossing could be easy to miss. Although the décor is more functional than decorative, what they lack in smartness they make up for in staff personality and food. There is always a friendly face to welcome one and to move tables on the little veranda in a way that best suits ones party.
Although they will remove any desire to eat even a morsel further, it is always a good idea to order some of the breads on offer such as roti, plain naan, rogni naan, butter naan, garlic naan, Peshwari naan, Romali roti, paratha, aloo paratha and keema paratha (and at an average of around R12 each, one can easily order all of them, even though the staff will crack up laughing because they know that one would never be able to finish them all). The sensible thing would be to order bread with the meal, because those breads are made specifically to mop up the delicious sauces of dishes like lamb palak with cream and spinach, chicken tikka masala, prawn korma, paneer makhni and many more.
