The High Tea at The Palm Court was sensational. With excellent Covid protocols in place, no buffet was on offer, however, sumptuous savoury and sweet treats were magnificently served on beautiful tiered cake stands, brought directly to you table. Sipping on a glass of bubbly, we were spoilt for choice with an extraordinary array of tasty bites, ranging from samoosas, cucumber sandwiches, salmon and decadent lamingtons, brownies and scones with jam and cream. And best of all, when you cannot possibly eat anymore, they provide you with doggy boxes for you to take home whatever you wish. A treat that should be repeated often!

When you step into the Oyster Box, it’s like being in another place in time. Opulent, classy and a foodies dream. I have had the honor of experiencing their famous high tea which is a sumptuous spread fit for royalty. The curry buffets are also our of this world as well. Every person must experience this place once in their lifetime!

Superbly indulgent experience! Macaroons are amongst the best I've had. Huge spread of sweet and savory options, all of which of the highest quality. Service was excellent with a wonderfully personal touch. A must do when in Durban!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have the CURRY BUFFET. The different flavours and very diffent curries are, without a doubt, the best that we have had. We tasted a small amount of each different curry, which was fantastic. I am not sure that next time we go, wether to sample all, or have a a full meal of the beef curry,... or the lamb curry, ....or the chicken curry, or the vegetable.... curry, or prawn.......... , or to have the naan or pappadum or lemon achar...........
