The food is really good. Pasta is very tasty and so fresh. The pizza is also really good, simple and fresh and very tasty. The service and ambience is okay its average for me. The food is generally good and whats nice is you have a takeaway option if you don't want to sit down.

We went to explore the new Menlyn shopping centre in Pretoria and as I read somewhere that Nonna's Italian foodbar had opened there to give them a try for lunch.The concept is that you get a card and start your food journey by choosing your drinks and food which they then bring to your table. There is a grill, but it's not open as yet at menlyn, they also only have heineken so far and a couple of wines. There is a coffee and drinks bar, a pasta bar, salad bar,Antipasto bar and pizza bar. You can build your own at some of the food bars and the pasta bar has different options available as well as types of pasta to choose from. Hubby had seafood pasta lovely tomatoey, full of prawns, mussels and calamari with a chilli hit. Freshly made pasta. Really really good. So I decided to order a large pizza... you know like you do so that you can take a couple of slices home for a late night snack? OMG. Hubby saw the pizza coming and started laughing.The pizza was nearly bigger than the table and could easily feed four people. I had too laugh it was so unexpected. I should not have assumed a large is a large is a large! Service was friendly and helpful quick to explain the process and to assist. Managers visable and jumping in to assist as well. Really good value for money and fresh ingredients. Just make sure about the pizza size you want. I took home two full pizza boxes.
