LOCATION :
On the Rooftop of this awe inspiring guesthouse, Moroccan House, nestles a cosy popular cullinary retreat, within easy reach of major shopping centres and the N1 within Menlopark, Pretoria.
DISHES:
Innovative colourful and healthy dishes, laced with fresh antioxidant vegetables, yet not too innovative to loose the Authentic Moroccan flavours. Every North African presentation is bursting with enticing colour and tantelising olfactory prelude to taste. It takes self control not to meet the waiter halfway in eagerness to receive ones' aromatic plate or tagine. On many occasions, unknown to new guests, the waiter is the proprietor himself. As he is a hands on restauranteer with a critical eye on all aspects of his business and fond of personal interaction with the clients and very precise and proud of what his Menu is offering.
BEVERAGES:
The most colourful thirst quencing cordials, tea being served ever so delectably, fragrant coffee or fine wine, soyrced by the owner's brother in The Cape, recommended by the knowledgable waitstaff to pair of with and compliment one's desired feast.
SERVICE:
Impeccable, polite staff welcomes you and attend to you, without hovering over you, as you await your order, which may take a while as it is a no "re-heat" and a no "boil in the bag" scene. The wait is pleasant though as the Propriator himself often set one at ease with a graceful anecdote, whilst still respecting your privacy.
AMBIENCE:
Pleasant true Morrocan atmosphere in all colourful and tranquil aspects. Comfortably busy without being madly crowded. One soon become aware of locals and regulars from afar alike, enjoying themselves at various tables, as even they, exchange a friendly word or two or take it upon themselves, to reccomend a dish or drink. The latter speaks volumes about the popularity and quality of having a cullinary experience par excellence on the cosy rooftop.
