Delicious sushi! What a nice relaxed little restaurant!

My favourite sushi place in Cape Town. Warm, considerate service, incredibly fresh and tasty food (both the sushi and the Chinese food) and reasonable prices.

Makimono, has one of, if not the best personalised service ever. Freshest sushi, and presentation to match. Lin Chao, or Alex as the chef calls himself, is friendly, meticulous, and serves a beautiful entourage of sushi to you. Superb service, excellent quality sushi and great portions for a really good price structure as well. I am well please with this hidden gem in Rondebosch just below the Zone Gym, and can vouch for excellent time with a loved one or your friends. Highly recommended, Thank you Alex and Queenie!

I Agree with Sophie - definitely the best sushi in Cape Town! Alex and Queenie always get it right! Great value lunch specials too. We visit at least once a week!
