Lucio's Pizzeria is the perfect example of 'home away from home' food and service. The food is delicious, plentiful and absolute value for money. Service s great with waiters always smiling and catering to one's every whim and need. Always busy so booking is essential, however they will always make a plan to accommodate you. There is a separate smoking section to those who require such, however it does not affect the ambiance of this lovely little Italian restaurant.
If I were to recommend a meal, I would have to start with the delicious Anti-Pasto Misto, the red peppers and artichokes are fantastic. Moving on to mains, my family could never fault their wonderful deep ban pizza bases (Huge fans of the half Di Guliano (spicy chicken, feta and pepperdews) and half Claudio Special (bacon, feta and avo), mouth watering stuff!! However, I am a meat eater, so their lamb shank is a must for anybody following my footsteps, the hint of chili makes it to die for. Their Picante pasta is also popular, a bolognaise with lime, cream, chili and brandy is fantastic, one can taste every flavour and it is perfectly complemented with HOME MADE FETTUCCINI!! Desserts are never easy, but when in Rome , Italian kisses always finish an Italian meal off well!
Filled with Ferrari and Italian memorabilia, as well as beautiful mosaic on the walls, ambiance is absolutely fantastic. Will always be the first to go to Lucio's and will keep going back for a long time! It's clear why this place has been around for 28 years and will still keep going! Thank you Claudio and Bimba, as well as all the staff and management of Lucio's for keeping this gem open for so long.

Visited Lucios Pizzeria on Friday 11/7 for the first time in many years. Great atmosphere, and the restuarant was full.
Food was dismal though; tasteless beef carpaccio, same for the spinach lasagne (could have done better getting a takeaway from Woolies) and the Napolitana sauce was a watery replica of what this sauce should be. Tastiest items consumed on the night were the bottle of red wine and the capers that came with the carpaccio.
The service from the waiting staff was good, but no one came to check if we found the meal satisfactory (even though less than a quarter of the spinach lasagna was finished).
