a friend told me about this new spot that opened up and i went last week wednesday. i must say the decor threw me off a bit as being a bit too larny, but once i asked what the theme was about it and then tasted the food it made sense. the tapas menu when you look at it seems like its a bit of everything from all over the world. i tried the sushi stack, hong kong ribs and the argentinian beef. the beef was soft and tender but the sushi stack with the deep fried avocado was amazing, rich texture of flavors and that play around in your mouth, the ribs were soft tender and juicy and practically fell of the bone, something unheard of when it comes to ribs, they had an asian twist to it which was good far from the usual barbecue flavor most of us are used to. overall i am highly impressed with the food i tatted last week, different approach to tapas to escondido tapas to which i have been to as well, the plating was stunning, service was really good. the food its self is not badly priced, drinks are a bit expensive at first glance but i opted for their specialty cocktails and had the CEO and the Lagos, very refreshing and not syrupy(as most cocktails tend to be), and i have had my fair share from traveling. overall i enjoyed my experience and love the intimate setting that its in. i must say the location i would never have found legacy corner as its tucked away in a corner in sandton city. i will definitely be back for another visit to try the rest of the menu, as they are definitely trendy tapas
