Still the best Indian experience in Durban. I usually have the same favourite dish(es) but on 26 August 2018, the flavours were absolutely awesone - didn't know it was possible to improve on them. THE best dhania/mint (?) sauce. Paper Masala Dosai & Punjabi samoosas are a must.

I attended an event that was held for my sister over the weekend and I would like to extend my gratitude to the Management and Staff for the excellent service and delectable dishes. It truly was a tremendous afternoon.... #LittleIndia #HighStandardOfCuisine #HighlyRecomended ......... Cheryl Singh

My visit to Little India on Monday 16/02/2015 was long overdue. Celebrating a friend's 50th birthday was reason enough to return. I was not disappointed.... in fact the food and the hospitality were OUTSTANDING. We tried various vegetarian meals which were all superb but the stand-outs were the starter Paneer Pakoda and Chili Veg ...the Masala Dosa, as usual, a winner. I must also mention we had the most delectable Naan which at some places tends to be rubbery, but here it was soft and light. Management even went out of their way to make the birthday celebration a special event, which was greatly appreciated.Everybody in our group raved about the food including some visiting for the first time. I would rate Little India as the best Indian restaurant in Durban for having consistently great food , excellent service, very generous portions, authentic Indian cuisine and reasonable prices. I know my next visit will be very soon.
PS. Even the car guard outside, (an elderly gentleman) welcomed us with such warmth.

As a whitey living in Gauteng I regularly long for my Durban curries and classic Indian food. I've been eating Indian food since my 12th birthday. I love the people, food and music. THIS is the place!!!! Yes, the ambience can be a bit better but hey, I'm here for the eating experience. Service is always good and the food fairly priced as well. I have been visiting Little India for the 5 years and found the service/food/quality consistent and always a pleasure going there.
You may find something better but I have not. Given variety, authenticity, quality, service and cost - Little India is my curry place of choice.

Excellent - but slightly more western in feel...yet the food is great! Sitting on the balcony is simply the best, especially if its a stormy, summer evening.
