Visiting Stilbaai over the festive season was quite the experience, with lunch at Lilliput as one of the highlights. Even though the coffee shop was full to the max we received excellent service. The atmosphere is unique, the décor truly inspiring, and the food superb! With a very diverse menu it is hard to decide what to order – a smart move, as the public will go back again and again to have a taste of every single flavoursome combination these two chefs create.Lilliput is without a doubt one of the Western Cape’s best kept secrets.Thank you Rhona and Brenda for a unforgettable pungent experience.

This intimate little restaurant has specialised in monthly set menu dinners for almost a year now. We have attended the majority and have been thrilled by the sustained high standard, the novelty of the cuisine, and the outstanding quality of the food preparation. 90% of the courses have rated as superior or outstanding and apart from one dessert in the early days each meal has been an experience that we regretted not sharing with more of our friends. There is a fresh innocence and sense of anticipation in the days leading up to the special dinner. If there have been behind the scene gliches they have been well concealed. The last dinner was 2 nights ago and it consisted of an oyster starter, a main of seared Norwegian Salmon that melted in the mouth and dessert was a quite splendid citrus creme brulee. Our party of 7 was a bunch of 60 somethings plus 2 young things and each of us, many who have eaten world-wide, felt the fish was among the finest, if not the very finest, we had ever had!Well done - it gets better and better. Eating out in Still Bay has been transformed by Lilliputs special monthly dinners.
