We had our anniversary lunch in December at Le Venue. The upgraded restaurant is beautifully decorated, and if you love JC Le Roux's bubbly you will probably enjoy the experience. The lunch menu is fairly simple with only a handful of dishes on offer, if a little pricey - presumably to cater for the foreign tourist market. My husband and I both had the sirloin served with veg and chips, ordered medium and the steak arrived well done and slightly charred around the edges. Not the best we've had by any means. The waiter wasn't around very much but I put this down to the reopening and possibly some new staff.
