I came to Bossa's Stellenbosch just after 10:00 am to do some work until my kids are done at school. I told the waitress that I need a table where I can work from. She directed me to a table in the corner where there is a plug for the laptop. I had to join a meeing, and had trouble to connect my headset. It was only myself and one other table with two gentleman in the same room / area. The next moment a man - I take it the manager, was standing in front of me, and without greeting me, without any polite or friendly engagement, told me "You are rude, this is rude!!!" I did not say anything to him, only looked at him and lowered the volume on the laptop (which was only one woman that was talking in the meeting), until I was successful to connect to the meeting with my headset. I did order food and drinks during my visit at the establishment. This manager has got no manners, and no idea how to engage with people or customers. I am absolutely disgusted by the manner he spoke to me and how rude he was in his engagement with me. I am baffled that one speak to another human being like that, forget the fact that I am a customer. I will never visit Bossa Stellenbosch again and wil lmost certainly tell all my contacts about this horrible experience. You state in your description "friendly service"- I am sorry to say I experienced anything BUT friendly service. You also state in your description that your establishment is open for business people. I am completely taken aback and shocked in the way this manager treated me. What a horrible experience.

We had an awful evening!
Firstly we were ignored once seated and nobody came for our drinks. Eventually the waitress arrived. She then forgot one girls order for wine so one person didn't get something to drink. She re took the order. After a long time our food arrived. The gnocchi was awful and tasted of flour. My steak was tough and difficult to cut and eat. It was generally bad. Again drinks were ordered and the wrong drinks arrived. Then at the end of the meal the waitresses was openly bitchy to me when I calculated the tip incorrectly (honest mistake regardless of awful experience) and refused to process the card payment until I increased the tip. After we did do this she continued to be openly rude at us. I've. Never experienced anything like this!! I was so amazed we just left but I should have involved the manager. Overall worst restaurant experience of my life! Would not recommend!

On Saturday my husband and I ate at your restaurant, we were seated upstairs and evntually greeted by our waiter (Wes?) he took our drinks order which took about 10 min to get to the table. We placed our food order about 5 minutes after placing the drinks order, the food arrived pretty quickly, well half of it. A different waitor dropped the food. He announced what it was and almost threw it on to the table and walked away. We shared the 900g ribs; we sat there waiting for another plate and the rest of our food (side order of onion rings) just to see our waitor sitting down at a table having a fat chat with them! this really annoyed us as no one was helping us, so my husband went down stairs and spoke to a manager and got a plate, still no onion rings? No one ever came to check if everything was OK or to offer us more drinks, as soon as we finished our ribs we went downstairs and asked for our bill so we could leave, we never did receive the onion rings.

Excellent food at reasonable prices - good family fare; friendly staff, wide range of dishes available. Not Michelin star quality, but I will go back for the friendly atmosphere, good range of wines available, and ambience.
