This restaurant has been making waves in the particular foodie circles that I follow and rate, so I proactively made a booking before I even had my Jozi trip confirmed (I live in Cape Town).
The restaurant was buzzing on the Saturday night we chose. It was hot, and we were seated on the veranda, which had a lovely ambiance. The service was slick and professional.
We opted for two rounds of tapas. The first round with mainly vegetarian dishes. The dolmades were the standout dish of this round. Our next round included beef shortrib (which really needed to be a bigger portion, because it's sensational) , calamari and grilled cauliflower. Greece can be proud of how this restaurant presented it's culture and cuisine.
