Overall a highly disappointing experience. Our waitress was apparently a trainee so the service left much to be desired- she was certainly not ready to be serving tables on her own- much less at a "five star" restaurant. She didn't have a clue what was on the menu or how to open a bottle of wine. The pasta was average, and really nothing to write home about and the creme brûlée was just plain awful - powdery and tasting as if it was a badly made instant pudding out of a packet. The complimentary chocolates tasted old, stale and basically inedible. The only real positive part about the experience was the bottle of wine which was lovely. Absolutely not "five star" fine dining, as advertised (and as the price of the food suggests).

We sent my sister and her husband to Georgio's, The View for dinner for their 25th Wedding Anniversary! Nsipho, who helped me arrange this, went out of her way to make the evening an unforgettable experience (we live in JHB)! When I chatted to my sister the next day, she said everything from the service, ambience and food was absolutely magnificent, and would highly recommend the restaurant - a 'jewel in toti'. Thank you to all the staff and we can't wait to go to the restaurant when next in KZN.

This was the most spectacular resturant I've been too. The atmosphere, food , and setup all add something to the breathtaking views and architecture of the surrounding landscape. The dining hall leaves nothing to be desired and the staff are expertly trained. The food was served in a timely fashion and tasted as though it was prepared by angels. I will definitely return on a weekly basis. Can't believe there was 5 star resturant nestled so close to home. Mind you, I would travel from afar to dine in such a place. Thank you.
