This little gem of a restaurant is situated in a very convenient spot. Easy in and out without the hassle of walking through crowds in a mall. Their waiters treat you like royalty from entering the restaurant, right up to going home. The ambience inside is so homey and spacious. We usually go with friends and can sit for hours, enjoying our drinks and meals without feeling rushed to get out. Their food is divine, and prepared very well to each persons taste. When choosing where to go, they will always be at the top of the list.

Arrived shortly after 9pm on Saturday 2 Feb, Was still rather full, but dont ask for the smoking section! Ambience was non existent, only one other table in this area, but service was exceptionally slow and uninterested. When we ordered starters at around9.20 was asked by the waitress toput in our order for mains as the kitchen was due to close shortly. Ordered a Ceasar salad, Joke was on us...tomato,cucumber and french dressing, I realise there are different variations but if you cant keep the basics right take it off the menu! My husband had kinglip for main - dry and inedible. When the waitress cleared never even bothered to ask how come his food had barely been touched. All wait staff congregate here to giggle and eat their dinner behind the bar. Literally 2 mins after clearing our plates, outside tables and chairs were being DRAGGED in and banged down next to us. An awful experience, never to be repeated. When I went to speak to the manager he apologised but said he was unaware of what had been happening as he was busy in the office?! Left at 10.30, with no offer of dessert or last round of drinks been called. Shocking.

So many restaurants, so little time. This is one that Im definately coming back to. My wife twisted my rubber arm and insisted we go out to Founders Grill. A great restaurant with a Chilli Butternut soup that makes your mouth water as you walk in the door. Value for money is an understatement and the food is excellent. Your made to feel at home from the moment you walk in through the door to the moment you walk out. WELL DONE FOUNDERS GRILL.
