Unbelievable to get something like this in the pampas of the West Coast. We had lunch on our way to Sanddrif, Cederberg. Not on the direct way, but worth a detour. As a Swiss I had to try the crispy rösti sautéed pork fillet with a light creamy sauce. My wife went for the wiener schnitzel with chips. Compliments to the chef. With this interior decoration we wouldnt be surprised if John Wayne would have walked in ,-)

Formerly the L'Aurore, Die Rooi Granaat is a space for locals and tourists to relax and enjoy country cuisine. Chef Evert is constantly on the go to produce fine dishes which are different to other restaurants. The menu changes every now and then which keeps the ingredients seasonal.
