Owner's description
Conscious Cafe is a new vegan and vegetarian cafe situated in Old Castle Residence in Hillcrest. They serve freshly squeezed juices and smoothies as well as locally sourced fair trade coffees and teas. The menu includes freshly made wraps and open sandwiches, salad of the day, vegetarian lasagna and soups. All wraps and breads are baked in house, daily, with non-GMO-stone-ground wholemeal flour. They grow their own sprouts and have a garden at the back of the cafe where they harvest as much of the fresh greens as possible. When visiting Conscious Cafe, you're sure to meet Grace and Precious, two resident cats who have become synonymous with the regular customers.
