We went to Brooklyn Brothers Glenfair in Pretoria for lunch. Fast,very friendly service, they weren't busy so we will have to see if they cope when they are. They had 3 Fransen street Cream Ale on tap which immediately made my Hubby happy. It is really an excellent beer, try it if you can find it. Milkshake was average, I mean I won't spit it out, but I have had better. Burgers were tasty and they also ask how you would like your patty done. I really like the idea that some of the garnishes like pickles, caramelised onions, relish, mayo etc are free add ons. The bun is good and fresh but I don't think it will hold up well with saucy toppings. The bun worked well with the bacon, cheese and onion burger I had, hubby had the cheese burger, he uses this as his test because " not everyone can do a simple cheese burger well. Nothing to disguise the taste of the patty" He was chuffed. Prices are also reasonable.We will be back.
