    Since my first visit to "Die Plaaskombuis" I am hooked on the place. Where do you still get gemmerbier the way ouma used to make it, roosterkoek, potbrood, skilpadjies, boepensbroodjies (Jaffles) putu pap and boere koffie with condensed milk all served in tin plates and tin cups next to a wood fire stove. Only at the plaaskombuis. Please keep it up for many years to come. See you next week again.

    This is a very traditional "boere kuierplek" with Roosterkoek and Kaiings on the menu. The food is worth the wait as everything is prepared freshly per order. The welcome gemmerbeer is just enough to get you hooked and to make sure you take some home. And the Illy coffee is the best in town!!

    What a unique experience not the same old steak spinach and butternut you get everywhere a must do!!!!!
