Horrible ! Definitely will NOT go there ever again. My friend ordered a coffee and ice cream with chocolate sauce. And I ordered the Roast of the day. Portion sizes were extremely small. My starter soup was a half cup of vegetable soup. When I asked the waiter for a slice of toast or a small bun - she said NO as this was a “ special “. The ice cream was 2 tiny scoops with a sliver of artificial chocolate sauce. We are both bikers and my friend had ridden from Somerset west and me from Blaauberg. I approached the owner/ manager with a friendly smile , introduced myself and asked about the portion sizes and and absence of bread and he bluntly informed me that given their “ costing “ he was unable to provide a larger size and unable to provide any bread. I asked what the cost of a slice of brown bread was and a tiny scoop of ice cream. ? Virtually nothing compared to a happy customer. Barracuda’s you displayed today extremely poor customer service An absolutely disgusting and pathetic and rude lack of generosity. A slice of bread and a small extra scoop of ice cream would have cost him virtually nothing and we would have left there as happy customers. So sad actually because this restaurant has beautiful views and I would have loved to come there more often. Highly recommended if you want to learn How NOT to run a restaurant!
