Artichoc Creative Cafe is a new restaurant and activity hub located at Stellenbosch Vineyards on Baden Powell Road just outside Stellenbosch. With the tagline, “ making chocolate & magic”, the focus is on chocolate, creativity and good food.
The restaurant is home to Winston & Julia chocolate and incorporates chocolate workshops in which visitors can experience the magic of chocolate and where they can learn to create their own chocolate treats. This space is geared up to host children's parties, hen parties and other group functions and events.
The restaurant also offer numerous creative ‘walk-in’ activities like fused glass painting, ceramic figurine painting, T-shirt painting as well as various pairings including with rooibos tea, African coffee, wine, pizza and – of course - chocolate.
“The idea behind the project was to create a really good food and wine eatery combined with an activity hub in which all members of the family can have a huge amount of fun.”
The ‘good food’ is being created by acclaimed Chef Norman Human. Firm favourites on the menu includes Grilled Pork Belly, Seared Salmon, Gourmet Burgers, Pizzas and decadent chocolate desserts. On the drinks menu there is a selection of Stellenbosch Vineyard and Welmoed wines from which to choose as well as beers, cocktails, gins and decadent Winston & Julia Hot Chocolate.
Besides the walk-in activities, Artichoc Creative Café is offering a range of instructor-led activities like Paint & Sip Classes, Croissant making and other crafty options. Artichoc Creative Café, a place where families can enjoy a great meal and indulge in something a little extra – making chocolate, magic and memories.
