Amazing baked pasta. Service is very slow

Unfortunately I have to be a little harsh on Pearlys and its sister restaurant Driftwood. Although the location right on the lagoon (spoilt by a small carpark between the veranda and the beach) is lovely, the food and service are merely average. Which is absolutely fine for a casual eating-out experience, buit not fitting of a top 1000 restaurant. Many chains provide similar (or better) food and service, and I have eaten at several far better restaurants that are not in the top 1000. Its possible that the reviewers try to get a good spread of restaurants right around the country, but then why have they blatantly not covered areas where there are some very good restaurants?

Amazing place to eat on a Saturday evening, perfect ambience, food and service. I would recommend without hesitation.
