Warm, friendly staff. Excellent food by Christophe Dehosse. Kid friendly. Warm fire in the winter en cool "spritzers" on the stoep in the summer. Just perfect! We were a party of 8 that dined here for a special birthday lunch a few Sundays ago. Gorgeous food served in an unpretentious way. The ultimate lazy Sunday lunch restaurant. DO have the Bouillabaisse and Lemon Pound cake (for dessert) if it's on the menu!

Joostenberg Bistro is our favourite restaurant in Stellenbosch. Whenever we can get away for lunch or breakfast, we head there. Service is always friendly, food is always delicious and the chickens make me smile every time! Joostenberg also has some impressive (some organic) wines and the deli will sort you out for dinner or tea.
