Traffords was a complete surprise. Lots of ambience came through the old colonial red brick Maritzburg house with wooden floors and high ceilings, which I love, and many small dining areas which gave a feeling of privacy. The menu consisted of about 6-8 choices each of starters, mains, and desserts and what a choice they were. Every single dish is unique in its unusual combination of ingredients, and because we are a family that likes to share, I got to taste many of the dishes. Every single sample was a unique tasting experience. Owner Penny provided excellent service throughout the meal, and the dishes were beautifully presented. And..... prices are reasonable! If you want to try something really different, try Traffords. I promise you, you won't regret it Angus Anderson
